  • You can discover extraordinary museums in Collioure, Ceret, Banyuls and Perpignan.
  • Every day there is in the neigbourhood a cosy and traditional southern French market you can visit, with typical local dishes, herbs, ceramics, fabrics and other typical Catalan specialities, but most of all all kind of forms of art.
  • The dozens of galeries in town are free to visit and opened until late in the evening. Pay attention as all other shops they are closed between noon and 15.00 hours.
  • Visit Chateau Royal and Fort St. Elme

Collioure is specifically well-known and beloved as an artists village. Together with famous painters as Matisse, Derain, Dufy, Picasso and Dali, who all spent or lived a longer or shorter period of time in Collioure, the village attracts ever since 1900 famous or less famous artists.

Besides museums and galleries you will see street painters and hear live music in all the streets and at the beaches.

Collioure is one of the art triangel of the three “C-s”, Cadaques (Dali), Céret (Picasso) and Collioure.
